UTOPIAN DREAMS Studio, Home of the Utopian Dreams Band, is riding the latest worldwide contemporary jazz wave with its nu-groove sensibilities.
Over several decades, this incredible crew of musical artists has been shaped by the San Francisco Bay Area and New York's "live jazz" music scene. They credit their jazz evolution with nods to old school West Coast jazz, early 70s Bay Area fusion, NY nu-groove, and the contemporary jazz explosion. Deeply orchestrated melodic chops shape their music expertly layered over contemporary jazz's funk, hip hop, soul, and Latin grooves. "From Dreams to You" is their debut EP, released in June 2013.
